Victorian Baubles

the gun

Yellow gold and enamel gun, circa 1880’s on an 18k rose gold chain. Probably worn on charm bracelet previously. This necklace is like a calling card of mine. I adore it! It makes me feel like a sharp shooter.

Right now my very favorite place to obtain unique Victorian baubles is right here in Austin, Texas!

Trouve Vintage Jewelry was started by the very inspiring Rhianna Rose Horan and her collections are truly delectable. Everything she has is vintage, with a focus on the Victorian Era, which is my favorite because that means each piece is unique, and that each piece has a story. I love to wonder who owned the pieces before they crossed my path; who they were and what they did, and most of all, how they wore the jewelry.

Rhianna has an AMAZING eye and always has extremely hard to find pieces that are in excellent condition, like French steel cut bangles and earrings from the 1840’s or green scarab beetle earrings from the 1780’s.

Genuinely passionate about her collecting, Rhianna also boasts a wellspring of knowledge about the pieces she has to offer, so purchasing from her is also like looking back in time through a Victorian lens and seeing a hyper-focused view of the symbols that gave their life meaning.

Purchasing from Rhianna is a very special experience; I have been collecting from her for several years now and plan on being a customer for life as I am genuinely inspired by her perspective and joie de vivre!
