Where Art Thou?

If it at all seems like I just disappeared it is because I did. I just got back from New York where I was visiting my amazing niece Lillie, taking in some yoga, and s-h-o-p-p-i-n-g.
It was the first time I’d ever been away from Tim and Leo, so I had my reservations about following through with it, but boy am I glad that I went. I attended one of the most uplifting yoga classes of my life at the Dharma Mittra Yoga Center, I found new plates for the blog, and I got to spend some deep quality time with my amazing niece, Lillie.
So now that I’m back, where art thou? And why didn’t I bring my computer? Well, between starting my food blog, raising a three year old boy and maintaining a healthy marriage, I felt exhausted and just knew I needed a little break before my head exploded. I needed to hit the reset button and now that I have, everything feels brand new in a new kind of way.
I suppose it’s an ineffable feeling really, but weightless is a good start. I just feel so hopeful and so inspired, I can’t wait to start posting new recipes within the next couple of days. Besides, I have to make up for lost time!
